I-40 passes just north of Crossville. There are 3 exits to Crossville - exits 322 (Peavine Rd), 320 (Genesis Rd) and 317 (Route 127 or Main St).
For early pitching shifts McDonalds on Main street opens at 5 AM and also has 24 hour drive thru window. Also Huddle House and Waffle House are open 24 Hrs (Both near exit 317).
The best way to get to the courts at our city park (Centennial Park) is to take exit 320 and go south one mile. Stay in the right lane which turns onto Industrial Blvd. One mile down Industrial Blvd you’ll find the courts on the left.
If you continue past the park about a block, there's a 4 way stop (Post Office on the right). Continue ahead one block and it crosses Hwy 127 (Main St). Turn here to the left and McDonalld will be on the right and a bit further on the left is Burger King. If you turn right on 127 you'll find Sonic, WalMart, Ryans and I-40, exit 317 (about 2 to 3 miles).
If you go straight ahead on Industrial Blvd at the light it will end in a block. Turn right here at go until the road turns 90 degrees to the left. The six Fairground Courts are there with 2 lights which are on all the time.
Route 127 is our main street. It’s a main highway which comes from Chattanooga and goes all the way into KY.. Most of the fast food places are on 127 as is Super Walmart and Lowes.

On Genesis Rd, just one block north of 127 (Main Street) is Family Ties. They are open from 7 AM to 3 PM. A 2 egg breakfast for $4. This is only a couple of minutes from the courts. It's owned by a friend I play softball with.
I’d recommend the buffet at Cumberland Mountain State Park Restaurant which is about 5 miles south on 127. It’s about $8 (Senior rate - have to ask for it) and offers a small lake view. Also the Peking Buffet is great and it very close to our pitching facility - just 2 blocks south of the park and turn left - will be on the left.
GAS: Best price is at Krogers if you have their card (3 cents off). The Super Walmart also has a good price. For those coming from the west on I-40, the Pilot Gas Stations in Cookeville (exit 286 and 287)
MOTELS: There are about 600 rooms in Crossville.
